Bible ShortsPrivacy Policy

Bible Shorts is a video app for animated Bible stories, run by Joseph Citrola ("we", "us"). This policy covers the iOS and Android apps and the website at bibleshorts.app.
The short version: we don't ask for your name, your email or your phone number. We don't sell anything about you, we don't track you across other apps or websites, and there are no advertisers involved. You can delete everything from inside the app in two taps.
What we collect

What we do not collect
- No name, email address or phone number is required to use the app.
- No contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise location. The app never asks for these permissions.
- No advertising identifier. We do not show ads and we do not use App Tracking Transparency, because we do not track you.
- No payment card details ever reach us. Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple.
How we use it
Only to run the app: remembering where you are in the Storyline, unlocking what you paid for, fixing crashes, and deciding which stories to make next. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the processors listed above, who act on our instructions.
Children
Bible Shorts is rated 4+ and is suitable for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age — there is no sign-up, no profile and nothing a child could publish. There is no user-generated content, no chat and no way for users to contact each other.
How long we keep it
Your progress stays until you delete it. Anonymous accounts that have not been opened for two years are removed automatically. Usage events and crash reports are kept for up to twelve months.
Deleting everything
Open the app, go to Profile → Delete my account. That permanently removes your account and every row tied to it — progress, likes, saves and feedback. It cannot be undone, and we keep no shadow copy. If you'd rather we did it for you, email hello@bibleshorts.app from any address and say so.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Manage that in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including the EU and UK under GDPR, and California under the CCPA — you have the right to access, correct, export or delete the information we hold, and to object to how it is processed. The delete button above covers most of that instantly. For anything else, email us and we'll respond within thirty days. We do not sell personal information, and we never have.
Where it's stored
Our database runs on Supabase in Canada. Videos are served from Cloudflare's global network. Analytics and crash data are processed in the United States. Transfers out of the EEA and UK rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Security
Everything travels over HTTPS. Database access is restricted per-row, so one account can never read another's data. That said, no system is perfectly secure, and we won't pretend otherwise.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and note it in the app before the change takes effect.
